Designed to provide advance warning to motorists, PWS offer Solar Powered Cattle Crossing Signs with radio operated Flashing Amber Beacons.
The signs are 900 x 1200mm with a W151 Cattle Crossing Warning diamond and twin Amber LED Flashing S102 Beacons x 200mm diameter.
The beacons are switched on & off via a hand-held Remote control fob which has a 100 metre operating Radius (radio fobs with a wider operating range are available if required). The reverse side of each sign has a indicator LED Beacon which confirms visually to the operator that the front beacons are flashing.
When the operator has finished moving the cattle, the beacons are switched off using the radio fob. If the operators forgets to switch off the beacons, an inbuilt timer will automatically switch off the beacons and reset the system, to prevent the batteries discharging fully and being damaged.
